Intelligence Bureau invites online application for direct recruitment to the post(s) of Group B (Non Gazetted/Ministerial), Personal Assistant, General Central Service and Group C (Non Gazetted/Non Ministerial), Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Technical. Eligible candidates may apply online for the post through prescribed format before June 2nd, 2014 and application in any other format will not be accepted.

o Personal Assistant (P.A.), General Central Service, Group B (Non-Gazetted/ Ministerial): 42 Posts
o Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Tech (JIO-II/Tech) General Central Service, Group C (Non-Gazetted/ Ministerial): 32 Posts

Pay Scale:
Personal Assistant (P.A.): Rs 9300 to Rs 34800 and grade pay of Rs 4600
Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Tech (JIO-II/Tech): Rs 5200 to Rs 20200 and grade pay of Rs 2400
Eligibility Criteria:
1). Educational Qualification for Personal Assistant (P.A.), General Central Service, Group B (Non Gazetted/Ministerial)-
· 10+2 pass or equivalent with proficiency in stenography
· Dictation: 10 minutes at rate of 100 words per minute
· Skill test on computer transcription of shorthand, 40 minutes (English) and 55 minutes (Hindi)
2) Educational Qualification for Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Tech (JIO-II/Tech)-
· Matriculation with two years Industrial Training Institute (ITI) passed certificate in Radio Technician or Communication or Computer or Electronics or Electrical
Age Limit for PA:
- Candidates should be aged between 18 to 27 years as on the closing date i.e. June 02, 2014 for registration of applications
- Age relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Age relaxation up to 32 years of age for government servants who have rendered minimum 3 years of regular & continuous service.
- The age limit is also relaxed for ex servicemen as well as for candidates who were domiciled in J&K during 1.1.1980 to 31.12.1989 and children & dependents of victims of communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat as per Government instructions in this regard issued from time to time.
Age Limit for JIO-II/Tech:
- Candidates should be aged between 18 to 27 years as on the closing date i.e. June 02, 2014 for registration of applications
- Age relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Age relaxation up to 40 years of age for such Departmental candidates who have rendered minimum 3 years of regular & continuous service.
- The age limit is also relaxed up to age of 35 years for General candidates and up to 40 years for SC/ST in case of widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands who are not remarried.
- The age limit is also relaxed for ex servicemen as well as for candidates who were domiciled in J&K during 1.1.1980 to 31.12.1989 and children & dependents of victims of communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat as per Government instructions in this regard issued from time to time.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be shortlisted as per their performance in written test, stenographic test/skill test cum interview and medical test.
Examination Fee:
For General and OBC candidates (male) it is Rs 50 (Rupees Fifty Only). However, for woman candidates and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates are exempted from payment of fee. Further candidates can deposit their cash by either off line or online mode.
