Satish Dhawan Space Center located at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh is one of the pioneer space research centers of the world. The site is originally known as Sriharikota Range (SHAR) and later on it was named after Satish Dhawan. The first spaceflight from SHAR was Rohini-125. Now, Satish Dhawan Space Center has Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV), Augmented Satellite Launch Vehicle (ASLV) and Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) and Indian space vehicles are launched from this space center with assured clearance. As of today, SDSC has revealed job openings for individuals. Let’s see the vacant positions.
There’re almost 14 vacant posts in SDSC and people with certain qualifications and experience can register online. SDSC is searching for 4 medical officers (distinctive background of knowledge) and 10 Scientists/ Engineers for their job openings. Interested individuals can start sending applications but SDSC will only accept online applications. Starting from 10.05.2014, the ending date for sending applications is 30.05.2014 at 17.00. The application procedure is pretty simple and you’ll receive online Registration number upon applying online. Also, you’ll need to provide valid email ID so that you can be contacted later on. But, before you continue applying here are some conditions and instructions that you’ll have to follow:
- Age Limit 18-40 years for Medical Officer ‘SD’ and 18-35 years for Medical Officer ‘SC’ and Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’
- The candidates should comply with the rules of SDSC and they should ensure they’re fully capable of the merit they’re applying with
- Candidates with false or incorrect information will be rejected
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply
