1.FATAL : घातक
Meaning:causing or capable of causing destruction
Synonyms:destructive, fateful
Antonyms:fortunate, assisting
Example:The withdrawal of funds was fatal to the project.

2. ADAPT : अनुकूलन
Meaning: to accommodate oneself to a new condition, setting, or situation
Synonyms:accustom, fit
Antonyms:neglect, refuse
Example:Dogs are known for their ability to quickly adapt to their environments.

3.ADVERSARIAL : विरोधात्मक
Meaning:relating to hostile opposition
Synonyms:opposed, adverse
Antonyms:accepted, favourable
Example:An adversarial attitude will make you many enemies in life.

4.AUSTERE : कठोर
Meaning:stern and forbidding
Synonyms:exacting, rigid
Antonyms:flexible, calm
Example:My boss had an austere expression on her face.

5.COINCIDE : मेल खाना
Meaning:to happen at the same time
Synonyms:concur, correspond
Antonyms:differ, disagree
Example:It wasn’t until after I booked my ticket that I realized the concert coincided with my finals.

6.DIRE : भयानक
Meaning:hopeless and dangerous or fearful
Synonyms: serious, drastic
Antonyms:mild, trivial
Example:When the police didn’t explain what was happening right away, Jane knew that the situation must be dire.

7.EMPIRICAL : प्रयोगसिद्ध
Meaning:derived from experience, observation, or an experiment
Synonyms:experimental, factual
Antonyms:unproved, theoretic
Example:You need empirical evidence to support your claim.

8.IMPOSITION : आरोपण
Meaning:an unnecessary burden
Synonyms:cheating, hoax
Antonyms:honesty, reality
Example:If it’s not too much of an imposition, could you proofread my paper?

9.LUCRATIVE : लाभप्रद
Meaning:capable of making a lot of money
Synonyms:profitable, fruitful
Antonyms:unprofitable
Example:Writing books isn’t a particularly lucrative career, unless you’re J.K. Rowling.

10.OBSOLETE : पुराने ढंग का
Meaning:no longer used
Synonyms:retired, outdated
Antonyms:new, fresh
Example:Historians assumed record players would be obsolete by now, but in fact they’re making a huge comeback.
